Union Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed in Parliament that the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack were killed in a military operation, 'Operation Mahadev.' The three Pakistani terrorists—Suleiman, Afghan, and Jibran—were identified as the attackers after their bodies were found on the outskirts of Srinagar. The weapons recovered from them, including AK-47s and an M4 carbine, were used in the Pahalgam massacre. Pakistani voter IDs and Pakistan-made chocolates found with the terrorists confirmed their origin. The investigation also included cross-checking with detained people who had supplied food to the attackers. The findings were later verified through tests on the weapons, confirming their involvement in the brutal killing of 26 civilians in Baisan Valley.
