Archbishop Emeritus Rt Rev Dr Henry Luke Orombi and Phoebe Orombi got married in 1972.
They have three children.
Born on 11th October 1949 in Pakwach, Rt Rev Dr Henry Luke Orombi
served as the first Bishop of Nebbi Diocese before becoming the
Arch Bishop of Uganda between 2004 and 2012.
He retired two years before finishing his term of office.
After serving as the 7th archbishop of Uganda, Henry Luke Orombi
was succeeded by Rtd Archbishop, Stanley Ntagali.

On 10th January 2021, the Bishop of Nebbi Diocese,
Rt Rev Alphonse Watho-kudi died.
By this time, Dr Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu became the Archbishop of
Uganda who decided to rename Henry Luke Orombi
as a caretaker bishop of Nebbi Diocese, until one year later
when Rt Rev Pons Ozele was enthroned as the new Bishop.

Retired Archbishop, Henry Luke Orombi has been known for fostering
unity among Ugandans, his resilience in preaching the word of God
and educating young people to live godly life, giving chance to many
children with lost hope, among others.
He got married to Phoebe Orombi in 1972 and have three children,
a reason the couple scheduled 26th of June 2022 as a day to celebrate
their 50 years of Marriage.
