Replacing FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator) Housing/Spring on 7.3 Powerstroke

Just a 'how-to' video showcasing the process for replacing the fuel pressure regulator on the 7.3 Powerstroke. This is on a 2001 F-250, so I imagine that it qualifies for the 1999-2003 model years, but it's possible that all (or some) of it applies to the 1994-1997 OBS models as well, but I can't guarantee it.

Symptoms of a fatiguing/failing FPR spring:

-longer start up crank
-poor acceleration
-rough idle/excessive vibration
-more pronounced clatter/'cackle'
than usual from #8 injector
-black smoke
-performance decline

A couple notes:

Once you have reattached the regulator, but before reattaching the fuel line, I like to use a bore camera to look inside the regulator to ensure that the spring is properly aligned/centered. You may be able to see it with your own eyes or take a picture with your phone, but it's a tough angle and a very small opening to look through.

The item I keep referring to as a "crush washer" is more like a rubber grommet. Crush washers are made of metal/steel, so my use of the term in the video is incorrect.

I want to apologize for all the sweating/panting/straining sounds... me being the genius that I am decided to make this video during the summer on one of the three days the temperature exceeded 100 degrees. 🥵 that plus the warmth from the engine made it impossible for me to rest my weight in any way (since the surfaces were too hot to touch) and seeing as how my truck is lifted, I was having to stand on my tire and bend over into engine bay = all the strain was directly on my back. If you speak chipmunk, you could hear me b***hin' about it.

The Riffraff Kit comes with three springs to choose from, depending on which level of PSI you desire.

*Silver = 55 PSI
*Gold = 62 PSI
*Black = 70 PSI

When I was discussing the 6.0 Poppet, the kit it came with was the one from Amazon that also had the FPR housing with it. It did NOT come with the RiffRaff Spring Kit.
