Stripping Down the Kawasaki Ninja 400 | Race Bike Build Episode 1

First round of NEMRR is only a month away and I decided now was the best time to start this Ninja 400 build. First up was stripping the bike down, which took much longer than anticipated, who knew Kawi's had soo many fasteners and panels? Not me! A couple of hours in the garage during a cold February and a naked 400 is the result.

I will say you should keep track of all the bolts and fasteners, label them, tuck them away for safe keeping. When stripping down the bike you really get to see just how it was treated by the previous owner(s). Sometimes you get away unscathed, other times, like I am finding out, it turns into a head scratcher moment.
