Описание к видео COMMON ISSUE WITH KAWASAKI | Oil Filter Burp Technique | Oil Change

Burping the filter is a technique that is used when the oil fails to pump through the motorcycle after changing the oil. The oil pressure sign will indicate if you need to do this procedure. Also, if the bike sounds raspy and unlubricated, you may need to do this procedure.

Burping Oil Filter Quick Notes:
~When replacing oil filter, be sure to fill new filter with oil (shown in video) before attaching to the bike.

IF YOUR OIL PRESSURE SIGN COMES ON:

1.) Turn off the bike

2) Loosen oil filter to the point where its just loose enough for you to turn easily with your hands while it is STILL ATTACHED to the engine. (DO NOT FULLY LOOSEN OR REMOVE)

3.) Start the bike and see if the oil pressure sign disappears. If it does, turn off the bike and tighten oil filter down to spec, JOB COMPLETE. If the oil pressure sign remains on, KEEP THE BIKE RUNNING and slowly loosen the oil filter until the pressure sucks the filter in. Be sure to not back remove the oil filter. If oil starts to pour out from the filter, STOP and turn off the bike.
