8RX - The SOIL SPECIALIST

Описание к видео 8RX - The SOIL SPECIALIST

More productivity through less slippage - When you have an 8RX at work in your field, you reproducing a tangible business advantage. Recent internal tests by Michelin, the Bern University of Applied Sciences and the Agro Transfert Institute agree that the 8RX produces more yield through soil protection and elevates productivity through less slippage. Further compound these advantages with 8RX precision ag features like 1-Click-Go AutoSetup and give your bottom line a solid boost.
The experts have spoken: Internal tests by Michelin and Agro-Transfert prove that, compared to an 8R with twin or single tyres, the larger contact area of the 8RX produces markedly less soil compaction to significantly improve water infiltration. That means less topsoil erosion and more water and nutrients available below for better plant development with higher yields. University experts speak of up to 10-20 % yield loss on fields with soil compaction. With an 8 m wide implement and 900 section tyres not considering headland turns about 25 % of a field is rolled over and impacted. 8RX tractors not only operate at a much lower contact surface pressure, but even with the wide 30 belts also roll over less area (only ~20 %) of the field. Assuming a wheat field with a yield of 8 t/ha and a market price of 200 SPC_EURO_SIGN/t, a yield improvement of only 3 % (240 kg) already corresponds to a profit improvement of 48 SPC_EURO_SIGN/ha.
Tests by Michelin s engineering experts show that, depending on soil conditions, 8R tractors with twin or single tyres reach around 7,000 daN of drawbar force at the 12 % wheel slip that represents optimum efficiency for wheeled tractors. Now consider the over 9,000 daN the 8RX reaches at much less than 5 % track slip.
