With the proliferation of Digital applications and in the era of DevTestOps & cognitive automation, Quality Assurance or SW testing has seen significant disruptions in terms of reduced time to test, shift left/shift right and has garnered an important valuable milestone in CI/CD pipeline as CT. Now, testing has evolved as Quality Engineering function where it is driving the application development. Enough is discussed and emphasized about the Quality Engineering as what it is and why it’s important by Industry Thought Leaders. Most of the organization understand its values and how it can influence their top/bottom line, address customer needs and sustainability. The major challenge everyone is facing today as how do they transform quickly from quality assurance to quality engineering organization and align with the ongoing DevTestOps and AI/ML wave. This transformation will need a big shift in organization cultural mindset which leaders themselves need to drive up. Up-skilling the employees, better skill utilization, technology focus on AI/ML solutions and methodologies such as BDD would be the key to this transformation journey.
