Ultra Large Format Camera - fine art project / Vlog 108

In this vlog I've spend three days in my cabin in the woodland of Kočevski rog, Slovenia. It was my first nights sleeping in the cabin, so I had to do lots of cleaning before I was feeling comfortable to lay down. I've especially checked the chimney, since in the past 15 years nobody was using the cabin. Except migrants coming from south stopping on their way to the promise land. I've recycled some of my drone footage from 2016. I don't have a drone anymore and now I'm investing all the money in the cabin, so I wasn't planning to buy it. But I must admit, it is another dimension, that I should incorporate into my work.

About my project Feels Like home.
Five years ago I had a divorce and break up of 21 years long relationship. I've started a project Feels Like Home where I'm domesticating the places I find myself in. My favourite method of domestication are flower bouquets and ritual called wet plate photography. Art is bringing peace to me. In the next stage I will make carbon prints from these negatives.
