At the third attempt I managed to capture the Britannic Explorer as it passed through Bruton station on its way to the West Somerset Railway and, then, Cornwall.
It was due to pass at 19:02 but was running nine minutes late and I was worried that it might be getting a bit dark by the time it arrived, given that sunset was at around that time on top of which it was becoming increasingly cloudy.
However, it was still quite light when it passed through plus its harsh horn made me jump - curses!!
As a bonus, a fellow enthusiast at the station, informed me that the Network Rail New Measurement Train was due to pass at around the same time but was, fortunately, also running late and passed through at around 19:15 so I was able to record that as well.
