1976 Super Bad Party Ring Commercial. This is the second version.

Thanks to David Bell for digging up this commercial. As stated, this is the second version. The original version had a white woman dancing with an African-American gentleman at the beginning of the commercial. A couple of people that worked at Turner told me that death threats were called in from some viewers that did not like an African-Amercian man dancing with a white woman. The video was then edited to remove the white woman and show a picture of the ring instead.

The African-American actor doing the speaking is the late Marcus Boyd aka 'Dr Feelgood' from late night AM radio WAOK in Atlanta Georgia. Marcus is also the spokesperson in the video.
