Mortal Kombat 1 - All PORTS: From BEST to WORST (Only Official Releases)

Описание к видео Mortal Kombat 1 - All PORTS: From BEST to WORST (Only Official Releases)

What was the best Mortal Kombat port ever released? And what was the worst of all? In this video I organized a list that I present from the best to the worst, in my opinion, of course :) The list only includes officially released games, and I also left out versions that were released from 2006 onwards, as they are practically the same as the original game.

GAME INFO:

Mortal Kombat is an arcade fighting game developed and published by Midway in 1992. It is the first entry in the Mortal Kombat series and subsequently was released by Acclaim Entertainment for nearly every home platform of the time. This port is from Commodore Amiga, released at 1993.

This port received graphics based on the Genesis version, the controls are limited to either one or two action buttons with no input lag, and the music was rearranged by Allister Brimble. But unlike its 16bs competitors, this one wasn't censored.

GAME RECORDING INFO:

The game was emulated at Retroarch, using MAME core. It was integer scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio (display aspect ratio, not internal resolution). And captured using shader / filter that simulates the image of a CRT monitor screen. I also use a bezel above the game, with a image of arcade machines, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
