A spaceship crash lands in the heart of London during the height of the Blitz, the military believe that they have captured a new Nazi ship and that its occupants are dead. The Eighth Doctor picks up a distress signal from the ship and investigates. Upon materialising he enters a near by bar and questions the bar maid, Kathy Bradford, who rveals that the ship had been taken away and the guard had been killed. Soon more visutors land on Earth in highly advanced technology, fully sustainable membranes. The Doctor, with the aid of Kathy and the Colonel, soon realises that the ship is a time experiment of an old enemy...
