Banana Pudding with a Surprising SECRET Ingredient : A Must-Try Recipe!

Simple ingredients (but one surprising one!) make this Southern Style Banana Pudding recipe the best one we have tried! It has truly become a family favorite.

Banana Pudding - Lisa
Ingredients:
Glass Trifle bowl
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
1 large 16 Oz cool whip thawed
1/2 C sour cream (the taste no one could figure out)
1 box Nila wafers
1 box Lady fingers
6-9 bananas
Rules: As my Mamaw always called directions
Make pudding per box directions
Add 1/2 C sour cream and fold in
Add 8-10 Oz thawed cool whip and fold in
Layer trifle bowl with Nila wafers
Top with 3 sliced bananas (2 if you like less bananas)
Top with 1/3 of the pudding
Next top with a layer of lady fingers, 2 or 3 sliced bananas and pudding
Last layer is Nila wafers, 2-3 sliced bananas and pudding.
Use the remaining thawed cool whip as “frosting” and crumble some wafers on top of “frosting”. Refrigerate at least 4 hours
