Samantha is a multi-award-winning author specializing in grief and loss. Through poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, she writes work that resonates long after the final page. With over 20 years of leadership experience and contributions to more than 40 books, Sam serves others by speaking truth with transparency, humor, and compassion.

Originally from the Chicagoland area, Sam has lived in Minnesota and Oregon and now resides in Simpsonville, South Carolina with her husband, their three daughters, and a house full of pets. An avid gardener, she often works through story ideas, writer’s block, and character development with her hands in the soil.
