A bit of theory behind this video. App Builder allows to create 3 types of fields: regular (typed), collection (typed) and dynamic (not typed). Collection is implemented as a set and can be presented in user interface in three ways: as a table, as a multi-select drop-down list and as a card grid (referred in a video as a widget view). Table view is a most frequently used visual presentation of collection. In this tutorial Maxym Kryval explains how to create tables and shows relation between tables and collections. He shows how to hide / display table columns using both standard UI and by scripting in CJ Blocks. The tutorial addresses the difference between normal collection and virtual collection. While normal collection field keeps a set of references to external instances and is stored in database together with containing object (unless marked as transient), virtual collection does not get saved and allows to browse the list of type's instances. Normal collection loads all its references and can be manipulated via CJ Blocks. Virtual collection loads the data as necessary and can display large amounts of data in efficient manner but provides limited possibilities for programming. Maxym mentions briefly collections of embedded types which behave differently from normal collections and which will be the subject of the separate tutorial.
