The Supreme Court will today hear a petition seeking a thorough investigation into the security lapse during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Punjab on Wednesday. The plea, filed by the NGO Lawyers Voice, has sought action against those responsible for the security lapse. Senior advocate Maninder Singh, appearing for NGO Lawyers Voice, told the Supreme Court that a security breach of such magnitude cannot be allowed to happen again and the matter needs thorough investigation.
