You will see mostly BNSF manifest trains but you will also see rare UP detour trains that ran over the Summer of 2021. These rare detour trains were rerouted from the Black Butte Subdivision due to the destruction of the Dry Canyon trestle North of Black Butte CA. This shut down the Black Butte Sub for over a month.

Being able to present this video to you is a huge personal achievement for me. I've wanted to make it out here to film trains on the 1.8% hill between Little Valley and Halls Flat for years now and I finally got the chance to take a few trips to this remote part of California to do just that.
