Ghost In The Shell is hands down my favorite anime of all time. Seeing Masamune Shirow world come to life was unlike anything I had experienced before. It was my first real introduction into the world of adult story telling, where not everything was fantasy or light vs dark but a world a grit, dirt and darker tones. Mamoru Oshii had brought to the screen one of the most faithful adaptations in my opinion. So to honour that I have put together a little video merging the original movie from 1995 and the up and coming live-action film using original sounds and music from both. Along with that I have blended the two with plenty of digital glitch art in the style of Hisao Shirai and Shūichi Kakesu. It's super short and was just something to do over the break. Enjoy :)
