LOCAL SPOTLIGHT: Keowee Key Sertoma Charity Golf Tournament

Welcome back to another Local Spotlight — where I take you behind the scenes of the people, places, and events that make Lake Keowee such an incredible place to call home. Today we’re right here in Keowee Key, one of the most sought-after lake and golf communities in Upstate South Carolina, shining a light on an event that truly captures the spirit of this place: the Annual Sertoma of Seneca Charity Golf Tournament.

As a preferred Realtor in Keowee Key and someone who’s helped families discover the lifestyle here for years, I can tell you — what sets this community apart isn’t just the waterfront homes, the championship golf course, or the amenities. It’s the heart. It’s the way people show up for each other.

This past October, our community did exactly that. Together, our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, friends, and family members helped raise over $45,000, sending nearly 50 kids to Camp Sertoma at the Clemson Outdoor Lab on Lake Hartwell. That’s real impact. And it’s exactly the kind of giving spirit that draws people to call Keowee Key “home.”

As co-chair of this tournament, alongside my friend Mike Hill of Bob Hill Realty, I’ve had a front-row seat to what Service to Mankind truly looks like. And as a Realtor, I’m proud to represent a community where generosity, connection, and service are woven into everyday life.
