A conversation with Edward Snowden about our legal case against mass surveillance

Описание к видео A conversation with Edward Snowden about our legal case against mass surveillance

The European Court of Human Rights’ judgment on the 10 Human Rights Organisations case is due next week. We sat down with whistleblower Edward Snowden last year to discuss what this case means for surveillance not only in the UK, but around the world. This case was made possible because of Snowden’s disclosures in 2013, and through the combined work of the American Civil Liberties Union, Amnesty International, Big Brother Watch (UK), Bytes For All (Pakistan), Canadian Civil Liberties Association, Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights, Hungarian Civil Liberties Union, Irish Council for Civil Liberties, Legal Resources Centre (South Africa), and Liberty (UK).
