Anna Muessig is a Director at Gehl where she specializes in delivering strategies, plans, and insights that center people and their health, happiness, and joy in the city transformation process.

Anna has worked with Gehl for nearly a decade, building its practice with Cities in the United States and around the world through innovative public realm action plans, evidence-based storytelling, mobility strategies, and creative engagement processes.

Recent projects include the redesign of San Francisco’s Civic Center, helping Google build its global placemaking program for its campuses, designing the interface between micro-mobility and a sense of place with Lyft, and leading a robust community engagement process to redevelop a car-oriented mall as a mixed-use, transit-connected community.

Before joining Gehl, Anna was a public art curator and producer. She holds a Masters in City Planning from MIT.
