A Guide on how to install Battlefield 2 Demo on Ubuntu with PlayOnLinux. This tutorial can be used for Ubuntu 12.04/12.10/13.04/13.10 and any other Linux distro that has PlayOnLinux.

The demo is FREE! So, you're more than welcome to try it yourself.

To follow this video, you will need:
1. PlayOnLinux 4.1.8 or greater
2. Battlefield2Demo.exe
3. Wine 1.3.8 installed in PlayOnLinux

Hopefully this video is easy to follow and is able to help you. The online multiplayer does NOT work for the demo as far as I've tested, because it uses the dead obsolete Gamespy service. The single player portion on the Gulf Of Oman works great though (albeit with buggy graphics here and there, but playable).
