Watch Review! - The 2023 PD1701 V5 "Neptune Project" - The Best Speedmaster Homage Watch Yet!!!

Hi there everyone!

Apologies for not posting a new video recently, I have been fighting a nasty bug for the past couple of weeks. In that time though, I did manage to get my first watch from the Aliexpress 11.11 anniversary sale....drum roll!!!... It's the new PD1701 "Neptune Project" Model. This is essentially the same as the Alaska Project Homage which has a red sapphire bezel & red chronograph markers.

This new blue colourway which I have named "The Neptune Project" has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a blue sapphire bezel & the iconic rocket-styled chronograph baton markers. The silver dial has a slight shimmer to it (check the macro footage) & is powered by the ultra-reliable Seiko VK64 Mecha-quartz movement.

This V5 2023 version has no date on the dial & as such presents a rather clean looking & less cluttered dial.

The watch comes on a decent stainless steel bracelet with a push button clasp & solid end-links. Overall, and in line with every other Pagani Speedmaster Homage, this watch represents incredible value for money & is a nice fresh colourway to adorn your wrist with!
