All Hooty Moments | The Owl House | Compilation

Hooty is a character in The Owl House . He is the guardian of the Owl House and is attached to the door.

Personality: Hooty is shown to be jovial and a very welcoming creature, often greeting visitors to the Owl House and trying to be accepted as part of a group activity. He often claims to have many stories of his experiences to share, but he rarely, if ever gets to share them since most people, including the inhabitants of the Owl House, consider him to be annoying. King referred to him as being desperate for attention. He is easily annoyed by the neglect which Eda and King throw at him, but nevertheless offers help if need be. Because of his station in life, being bound to the house, most of his activities and hobbies involve talking, telling riddles and rolling around in the mud.

Hooty's origins are currently unknown, although he mentioned that Eda acted as a teacher to him some time in the past, although the events of this interaction are vague at best. He is a sentient doorknocker located on the Owl House's front door. He is essentially part of the house and controls several of it's utilities, such as the lights. Both Eda and King, as well as Luz, treat Hooty with neglect on account of his annoying behavior and his tendency to get himself exceedingly filthy once a week.
