Since then, Congo’s resources like coltan, cobalt, and gold have been looted to provide cheap minerals for big tech companies like Apple, Tesla, Microsoft, and Glencore. Kagame and Museveni have played key roles in this destruction, while African leaders and institutions have stayed silent. Now Congo is being forced into peace deals just to protect what little stability remains. Lynae Vanee calls it what it is: genocide, neocolonialism, and a global betrayal—and she urges all Africans and the diaspora to stand with Congo.
