Well yeah, I suppose it isn't quite that easy in practice. However, the reality is that you can share a surprising amount of view code between platforms. And with a few thoughtful considerations, you can ensure your code stays easy to read, maintain and extend.

In this session, you will learn how to structure your SwiftUI views for maximum code reuse and modularity in order to build apps for different layouts and input mechanisms. We will discuss how to abstract away any "platform-specific glue" to keep things clean at the call site and talk about best practices for backwards compatibility.

Of course, we'll also talk about Apple's new Liquid Glass design language and how that reshapes the way we should think about navigation, layout and view composition in our cross-platform SwiftUI apps.

After using SwiftUI almost exclusively over the last three years to ship apps for a large range of Apple devices, I made a lot of mistakes along the way so that you don't have to ;)
