Mission Book

Choose a Unit to Activate
Players alternate turns. On your turn you can take a single action, such as moving a unit to an adjacent hex, attacking a target, rallying a hit unit, cutting wire, calling artillery, etc. Then your opponent takes an action, and so on. Players have little downtime, needing to continually assess the battlefield, make decisions, and take actions every 10-15 seconds.
Action Example: Move
You choose to move one of your infantry squads. A foot unit can move one 50 meter hex in any direction in a turn. Tanks can move additional hexes in open fields and on roads. But be cautious crossing open spaces as you leave your self vulnerable to ranged attacks by enemy forces!
Action Example: Attack
You fire your LMG unit at an advancing Soviet infantry squad. Subtract your attack value from their defense value to determine this attack's hit number. A 2d6 (2 six sided dice) result equal or higher than the hit number results in a hit. When hit, your opponent randomly draws a hit marker and places it under their hit unit. You only know that you hit the unit, but you are unsure what, if any, damage was done.
