Via Cranborne’s CAST system, I’m able to plug my mic into the small passive box (N22) , and the analog signal is sent via CAT5….balanced analog !
Makes for a great way to access 500 series pres that have no input on the front.
This is just one small benefit.
This same box , and same cat 5 cable will at the same time return an aux mix to same N22 box.
The N22 also comes as the N22H , with headphone outs.
Talk about “cable management”!
