Bhaja Govindam verse 8 - who is your wife, child and you- Swami Chinmayananda

Who is the wife? Who is the child? From where has one come? To whom does one belong? This world is extremely strange. Like pieces of straw floating in the river, we come together and depart when karma is over. Not knowing this, we get attached, compromise and forget the purpose and goal of life. Shankaracharyaji prods us to think on these fundamental questions. Swami Chinmayanandaji brings out the irony of the situation with lot of humour and satire.
