We will review four key case studies in the areas of space science, Earth science and STEM education:

1) Suborbital ballooning
2) Arctic research operations
3) Enabling sensor technology to improve scientific outcome
4) STEM education, workforce development and philanthropy

The first will highlight the use of ballooning as a tool for obtaining suborbital data as well as test and evaluation, the second will focus on Arctic research. As the environment changes, so must the approaches to Arctic research operations. The third case study is focused on Battelle’s efforts through partnerships and internal R&D to develop and test new sensor data management technology for use on NEON. Finally, the fourth highlighted area is focused on our current efforts in STEM education.

This discussion will cover new efforts to increase curriculum content as well as exciting new partnerships with a diverse set of team members to reach a broad audience. Together, these case studies show what is possible with proactive, agile, and adaptive program and infrastructure management solutions and support.
