Italian painter, sculptor and designer Pierro Fornasetti created over 11,000 items in his lifetime, and was famous for his style reminiscent of ancient Greek and Roman architecture. Upon his death in 1988, his son Barnaba Fornasetti gained control of the business and continues to design in his father's name, having exhibited at Salone del Mobile, the Victoria & Albert Museum and Luisa Delle Piane Gallery in Milan among others.
