Baking potato in the microwave is super easy and you can do it within a few minutes. Depending on the size of the potato and the power of the microwave (culinary tool) oven, baked potato microwave time is 4 to 8 minutes. In my SHARP 900W Microwave Oven, it takes only 6 minutes to bake two medium-size potatoes.

However, in this video, I’ll show you how to bake a potato in the microwave easily and quickly. You will need olive oil and salt for seasoning while baking potatoes in the microwave. And this is how I bake the potato in my microwave. But if you want, you can use butter instead of olive oil. Or even you can use any cooking oil.

Ingredients
1. Potato: 2 medium
2. Olive oil: 1 tbsp
3. Salt to taste
4. Butter (Optional)

Directions
1. Wash and dry the potatoes completely.
2. Make some holes into the potato using pork.
3. Rub olive oil and salt.
4. Microwave for 6 minutes (3 minutes on each side)
5. Cut potatoes and add butter, microwave for 20-30 sec more.

Note: My microwave power is 900W. Make sure you know the power of your microwave oven. Depending on your microwave oven power, you may need to adjust the cooking time. Also if you want to increase or decrease the amount of ingredients, you must adjust microwave power level or cooking time.
