Delicious Masala Veg Grilled Sandwich, packed with spicy mashed potatoes, fresh veggies, and melted cheese. Perfectly grilled to golden perfection, this sandwich is bursting with flavor and makes for a satisfying snack or light meal. A must-try for all street food lovers.

Ingredients
Bread
4 Potatoes
1/2 cup peas
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Few curry leaves
1.5 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
Pinch of asafoetida (hing)
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
2 tsp chaat masala
2 tbsp chopped coriander
1/2 Lemon juice
Butter
Green chutney
Tomato slice
Cucumber slice
Onion slice
Chopped Bell pepper
Cheese

Method
Potato Masala Preparation:
• In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Allow them to splutter.
• Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.
• Add chopped onions and saute
• Add asafoetida (hing), turmeric, chilli powder, and salt. Mix and cook until onions are translucent.
• Stir in boiled peas and saute for 2 minutes.
• Add mashed potatoes, garam masala, and chaat masala. Mix well and cook everything together.
• Add chopped coriander and a squeeze of lemon juice. Mix and set the potato mixture aside.

Sandwich Assembly
• Take a slice of bread and spread butter and green chutney on it.
• Spread a generous layer of the prepared potato mixture on top.
• Take another slice of bread, spread butter on one side, and place it on top of the potato mixture, butter side down. Spread butter and green chutney on the top side.
• Arrange slices of tomato, cucumber, onion, and bell pepper on top. Sprinkle each layer with chaat masala.
• Spread grated cheese on top of the vegetable layers.
• Take a final slice of bread, spread butter on one side, and cover the sandwich with it, butter side up.
• Grill the sandwich on a tawa or in a sandwich maker until golden brown and crispy.
• Slice and enjoy the sandwich hot.
