Story of Seasons - How to trigger the Vineyard / Winery job event & make Cliff stay in Mineral Town

I'm seeing a lot of people unable to trigger the Vineyard Job event and I was one of them. It was Autumn 14 and Duke didn't come to my house to ask for help. This event is crucial to getting Cliff to stay in Mineral Town so if it doesn't trigger, he leaves.

After much research, I found out that I have not yet triggered Cliff's black heart event, which is a prerequisite to the Vineyard event. I have already accomplished the other prerequisites (good friendship with Cliff, Duke, Manna, and Carter(?) ) except Cliff's black heart event.

Fortunately, I had a save file from early Autumn and was able to trigger Cliff's blackheart event. The latest you can trigger this is Autumn 6, Tuesday, 10am at the Church. Make sure to answer correctly and go about your business until Autumn 14th. You can also sleep in until Autumn 14th to make sure that you did it right. Manage your save files so you won't accidentally overwrite important saves!

If this doesn't work, it could possibly be a glitch, as I'm also seeing people who have accomplished all prerequisites and still unable to trigger the event. But I have Story of Seasons - Friends of Mineral Town Version 1.0.2 so maybe it was the versions prior to that which has the glitch but I can't be 100% sure.
