This is our final video before Christmas, and I want to take a moment to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Additionally, I’d like to address anyone who is considering buying or selling a home in the next month or two.

As we approach the spring market, the real estate landscape is expected to shift. Opportunities available now may not be present in the coming months, so it’s important to understand how you can make the most of the current market conditions.

For Buyers:
Right now, demand is lower, meaning there’s less competition. This provides a unique advantage—you have more time to explore a variety of homes, and the opportunity to make more competitive offers at favorable prices. Additionally, the ability to purchase with the contingency of selling your current home is much more viable now than it will be during the busier spring and summer months. If you find the right property, it’s easier to get your offer accepted in the current market, and this window of opportunity should remain open for the next month or so.

For Sellers:
The market is experiencing low competition at the moment, but this will change once spring arrives, with more properties hitting the market. If you’re thinking about selling, now might be the ideal time, particularly if you have a pressing need to move. While it may take a little longer to sell right now, you’re unlikely to lose money in this market. However, come spring and summer, if you’re in a neighborhood with high turnover, you could face more competition. Homes that were previously more competitive at higher price points may not have the same advantage once there are more listings to contend with.
