Diesel is brought to The Fat Controller's Railway to help build a new line. When he learns about the state-of-the-art technology that will run it, Diesel vows to get himself an upgrade.

Long gap between fucking videos again (swearing to keep the YouTube bots at bay). Sorry! This project began in January as just a fun idea for a story that didn't take itself too seriously. Nearly a year later, and it's done. In fairness, I have some excuses for taking so long - working on other videos, writing on TUGSContinued, and more recently joining the Video Workshop. Its all shit that I love doing, but leaves me tired when it comes to the personal videos. That being said, this one was a lot of fun. TheBlueE2 also let me know that irl, some 08s have been converted to other power sources, so that gave me an air of confidence about the concept. Having diesels as the main focus was a nice change of pace, and doing the SFX work was really rewarding (if a pain in the arse, but hey, what can you do). Doing the various stages of the Peel Godred's construction was also a pain, but it turned out really well imo. Decided to shake it up by not using any Thomas whistles, hope you all like that! Suddy Soap Bar did an amazing job with the voices as always, I especially love his Diesel voice. The crash in particular, I'm very proud of also. Managed to throw some in-jokes in there as well, and overall, I'm very pleased with how this video ended up turning out. Hope you enjoy!
