AARON'S REVIEW OF THE SUPER ADVANTAGE

Overall I like this controller a lot. If you manage to find one of these controllers in the wild, odds are you will have an issue with the buttons sticking as the problem seems to be prevalent with this hardware. I would recommend following the steps outlined in this video to clean the controller if you find one to resolve the button sticking issue. The controller works great for space shmups such as Gradius III, Super R-Type as well as rail 3-D games like Star Fox. I don't like it so much for platformers like Super Mario World, but it works great for 3-D mode 7 games like F-Zero and Super Mario Kart. I cannot really endorse using this controller for fighting games such as Street Fighter or Moral Kombat due to the awkward button placement and the inability to pull off special moves accurately. However, I loved using this controller for arcade classics such as Ms. Pacman or Williams Arcade Classics. The controller is a unique and rare find and worth taking the time to refurbish if you have the chance.
