This is going to be a short video review about WMF Damasteel 3-piece set of kitchen tables. This is the highest series from WMF. These knives are made in Germany, and they are made of Damascus steel, but WMF called that Damasteel. This set comes with two really nice booklets about WMF technologies how to make a really sharp knife. These booklets are in many different languages and they carry some basic information about new technologies. The second booklet shows how Damasteel or Damascus steel is produced at WMF and how a really high quality is achieved.

This set of knives comes in a nice wooden box; really high class. You can see that the set consist of three knives: a big Chef's knife, then a smaller carving knife, and the smallest; utility knife.

All these knives has a really nice feature, that they are made entirely of one piece. That means that the handle and blade are made in one stroke. And if we go from knife to knife, they are forged in a way that they have a really nice balance; each of them is designed this way.

The stainless steel handle is perfect for hygiene and also it really feels nice in your hand. They also carry the sing Damasteel, WMF logo, and Made in Germany label. These knives are forged at more than 1000°C, they have multiple layers of forging; they have Damascus look. At the same time they are extremely sharp, since the sharpest achieved on this knife is two times higher than the current DIN EN 8442/5 sharpness standard, they are really sharp. At the same time, the material is on the highest quality level.

We could say that these knives combine really state-of-the-art technologies with a traditional forging process. They are really unique in this way. As you can see, the bolster of the knife is polished, the handle has a satin finish, while the blade has Damascus finish. The chef's knife, the biggest one, is 33.0 cm long and the blade is 20.0 cm long, the second biggest, the carving knife, has a 17.0 cm long blade, and the total length is 29.0 cm. The utility knife in this set is the smallest, and it is 23.0 cm long, while the blade is 11.0 cm long. They are really ergonomically designed and really beautiful.
