What I wish I knew before I went: Atins, MA Brazil

--Private transfer from our hotel in Sao Luis to our Airbnb in Atins $350

--A more economic option is to take a bus from Sao Luis to Barreirinhas. Then you can take a boat taxi down the river to Atins. Both the boat and bus will charge extra for kite gear bags.

--Vehicles have to be registered with a pass in order to drive in the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. I don't think you would be able to take a rental vehicle to Atins. I don't think you would even want to.

--"Taxis" are a quad service ran by the KO Kite school. They are. not always available and it is usually $5/person.
