Biking in the Netherlands V02. That is... Biking in Hilversum.

Biking in the Netherlands. Or better. Biking in the city of Hilversum is becoming a challenging activity. This footage is taking during two separate days cycling in Hilversum while traveling to work.

Unfortunately I messed up the settings of my new camera. I still got to master the DJI Osmo Action 3. The last clips it all is back to normal.

I grew up in the Netherlands. Using a bicycle is normal. All my life. When it's possible I use the bike to get from A to B in our surroundings. For months now I use the bike even more to travel to work. I work two days a week in the centre of Hilversum. You'd better call that the traffic jam called Hilversum. I totally missed that evolution because I traveled a lot for my regular work in the past.

Using the famous Dutch bike lanes in 2024 is totally different from, let's say, 10 years ago. So there are many new different means of transport on those bike lanes nowadays. And all sorts of traffic is crossing more often then I was used to. You have to watch carefully what you do now.

Also the "fietspaden" are more crowded now. That's a good thing I think. More and more people are willing to use a fancy bike to travel from A to B in 2024.
