Today was an exciting day in verse and one special moment I want to share with you.

When I came into the Verse today the first thing I wanted to do was to get rid of my Crimstat. So as I was on my way to Hurston security depot I made a stop at HDMS Edmond as usual to load my Cyclone into the good old Lady.

When I was done loading I noticed that outside the armistice zone an Andromeda was watching me closely, it was clear to me that this player in his ship wanted to get my bounty but I decided I wouldn't be the first to fire because I just wanted to clear my CS and I didn't want to fight with someone else.

So I burned out of the area in the hope that the Andromeda would give up his hunt relatively quickly.
Unfortunately I underestimated the devotion of this player when it comes to how much he wanted my head.

Still determined not to fight, I made a few evasive jumps to get rid of this player, hoping that he would get tired having to jump after me all the time.

But the player stayed on and so I decided to go head on, I fight him and have my peace afterwards, after all it is only an Andromeda that is flown alone.

Now comes the point where I have to mention, in this game I am everything ... but not a good dogfighter. I am quite proud that I can fly a ship from A to B without exploding, which is quite likely with a cutless.

After a couple of approaches to my opponent, I quickly realized "No, I'll die if I keep trying".

So I burned away from him again and thought about what I could do.

This guy would not let go

So I decided to fly to crusader to gain some time. Since the Cutless is pretty fast in the Quantum I was pretty sure that what I had planned could work if I would only make up enough time.
