The Rotary Club of Hiranandani Estate (RCHE), led by President Rtn. Arunima Singh, Vocational Director Rtn. Anil Modi, and Secretary Rtn. Anubha Kharabe, hosted the ROVEX (Rotary Vocational Excellence) awards on January 12th at Rodas Clubhouse, Thane, celebrating vocational excellence across diverse fields.
Awardees included:
1. Abhishek Amal Sanyal: A global financial executive and researcher, recognized for his climate change and corporate governance studies. He has authored "Requiem for a Soldier," dedicating proceeds to Indian soldier welfare.
2. Rekha Gupta: An accomplished swimmer and coach with national and international accolades, including titles in sea swimming, and coaching appointments with the Indian Navy.
3. Sunil Kumar: An endurance runner and marathon trainer with achievements in ultra-marathons globally, including the Comrades Marathon in South Africa and Ladakh Marathon.
4. Reshma Raute: A Mrs. International Woman of Substance awardee with a two-decade IT career, fostering diversity and inclusion, and mentoring women in corporate roles.
5. Milind Ballal: A veteran, award winning journalist and a Rotary member, known for his editorial contributions, books, and leadership in community initiatives.
6. Ricky Krishnani: A hospitality entrepreneur who established Ricky’s Bar n Kitchen in Hiranandani Estate, expanding successfully even during the pandemic to include a nightclub and cloud kitchen.
7. Medha Deshpande: Founder of Medha’s Kitchen, a 24-year-old multi-national catering business known for quality food, festive packages and resilience during the COVID-19 crisis.

These awardees exemplify dedication and innovation in their fields.
