Make a Dyneema Button Shackle for Hammock Stand - Tensahedron

Описание к видео Make a Dyneema Button Shackle for Hammock Stand - Tensahedron

I have been using a Tensahedron Hammock stand that I made a couple months ago. Since I camp on the desert quite a bit, this stand allows me to use a hammock where there are no trees. The hammock I use is actually one of our ponchos which can be set up in a hammock mode, it is very comfortable. Anyway the hammock stand is four legs that are flexibly connected using a Dyneema Button Shackle. In this video I show how to make one. They can be used in many places where you might use a carabiner as well. I will be making a video on how to make the hammock stand soon.

NOTE: I USED A FID IN THIS VIDEO TO MAKE THE SHACKLE, YOU CAN ALSO USE HOOKS, TURNING HOOKS ETC. Find these items by searching for "eye splice with Fid"
