Let's shed some light on the darkness that is contained within the Odyssey: From it's dark ending, to its themes like addiction and infidelity, all wrapped up in a tale that is basically the world's first anime, and is as epic as epic gets. About time I cover Odysseus' journey through the oceans, one of Greek Mythology's greatest epics.

Notes:
This is my last video on Greek Mythology for now. I will cover some Japanese mythology and Japanese history next, and then do a couple of one-off videos. Really looking forward to jumping into a whole new region — should be a breath of fresh air.

As for video notes, I did omit some things for brevity's sake. For example, right after leaving Troy, Odysseus and the gang arrive at an island that is allied to the Trojans and the gang basically tries to murder everyone on the island, but get chased away. Since, ultimately, that whole episode is just them dying for no purpose, I skipped it. There are some other details that, I feel like, would have just made this video a chore to watch, so I decided to up the pace and tell the tale of the Odyssey under 40 minutes. All in all though, all important parts of Odysseus' journey are covered, and I managed to sneak in the various endings that most videos don't ever mention for some reason... like it's some secret or something.
