Maniax is an argentinian speed/heavy metal band founded by guitarrist Maxi cabrera and Leandro tuerca Bustamante both members from Tungsteno. They starting rehearsal in 2015
with constantly changes of line up , they started with more aggresive sound more like Thrash speed metal and released an EP of 3 songs in that year called " Maniacos " The ep has some good critics in the metal scene from buenos aires and they played live
constantly in 2015 and 2017 opening shows for VIOLATOR (Brasil) and sharing stages with many many bands in the local scene all over Buenos Aires settled up as a cuartet with Maxi cabrera on guitars and vocals , Sergio Haylan on guitar , Manuel Vivona on drums and Leandro tuerca bustamante on bass guitar.
In 2017 they decided to change drastically the style of the band changing to a raging speed and classic heavy metal genre , so they decided to take a break in the entire 2017 to rehearsal and start to define the new maniax , in that year Facundo Gonzalez join the band as a drummer and Marcos Leiva as a lead vocals , turning the band into a quintet With a solid formation and a new direction of the band with english lyrics the band get into massive rehearsal
and in the begining of 2018 release OPEN THE GATE the 2nd EP and the first of the new formation
Actually the band is working with his full album wich is gonna be released on 2018

And the story keeps going on.
