2020-09-27 Mei Xiang, what are you doing with Cubbie?

#PandaStory: It appears that Mei Xiang was listening to her keepers next door in her larger indoor enclosure as they cleaned and provided her with fresh bamboo and treats. But what was she doing to cubbie? There was a little bit of grooming, a little bit of resting, but cubbie wasn't fussy, so she couldn't have been trying to sooth him/her. Perhaps she was "playing" with cubbie as she waited for her lunch to be delivered. It seems it's a little early for mom/cub play behavior, but there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to this! After she left for her 27 minute lunch break, cubbie did a bit of vocalization, but didn't seem to get much traction in the old dried bamboo!
