The All Hail Hereafter ~ A Long December (cover)

Our take on the Counting Crows classic, we chose to start with this song as an introduction to who we are and what we're about without spoiling any of the original music from our debut album.

December used to be my favorite month, but over the last decade or so, well if April is the cruelest month, December has been the most disastrous. Losing friends, serious illness both personally and in my family, two deaths, my sister moving to LA, and not being able to see my loved ones on the West Coast during the pandemic. "The smell of hospitals in winter" and "it's been so long since I've seen the ocean" are lyrics that rung poignantly true as I've maintained hope that "maybe this year will be better than the last." This year, with my dream band finally assembled, I believe it.
