Sky News host Danica De Giorgio says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is more comfortable when he is “invisible, in the background and abroad” than when he is back home.

Five days ago, in the middle of Sydney's CBD, the late leader of Hamas Yaya Sinwar was celebrated as a ‘legendary martyr’ following his death.

“Anthony Albanese should have at the very least on Sunday night in the strongest terms, come out and condemn the scenes of the weekend – instead we heard nothing,” Ms De Giorgio said.

“We can hardly be surprised – after all his vanishing act began after the October 7 massacre last year.”
