Provide prompt, dependable, high quality, vehicle sales to customer by using current proactive feature benefit sale techniques.

▌Major Duties and Responsibilities
Motorcycle Sales
• Maintain a sales tracking average of a minimum of 110 units annually.
• Log 5 prospects daily obtain a cell phone number and email address for every customer.
• Assist in keeping motorcycles clean and dust free daily.
• Contact a minimum of 25 people via telephone each day.
• Obtain a Manager’s check on every customer turn over.
• Log all customers in TLP as soon as possible, normally within first 5 minutes.
• Follow the 9 steps process in TLP with an objective of getting each customer to the next step. Getting 1 test ride and kept appointment per day worked
• Make sure all paperwork is filled out completely and accurately before getting a Manager.
• Make 2 copies of customer’s driver’s license and secure required signatures before turning the customer over to the F& I
• Have customer unload trade-in & obtain registration card before the appraisal begins.
• Be present at the time of sale to ensure a proper delivery, cover owner’s manual ect.
• Follow process for customer purchase ringing bell with available employees
• Obtain owner’s manual, take off parts and 2 sets of keys on all trade-ins when possible.
• Prior to delivery, gather tag, keys, owner’s manual and make sure the bike is clean and ready to go.
• Mail a “Thank you” card to all customers who purchased a motorcycle.
Customer Service
• Provide “Raving Fan” service to all of the dealership’s customers.
• Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner. Cultivate prospects
• Make all customers feel welcome regardless of race, sex, or creed.
• Present a feature/benefit selling methodology for vehicle sales, trade-ins and purchases.
• Ensure the delivery to customer is an “Event” which endears the customer the dealership.
• Follow-up with all customers via mailing lists within specified time frames.
• Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to “Make Things Right.”
• Attend training sessions to keep current with sales techniques and sales department info.
• Cultivate prospects (e.g. showroom customer follow-up, phone-in inquiries, past owners, etc.)

• Treat all employees and customers fairly, courteously, and with dignity.
• Model superior customer service behavior for all sales personnel by maintaining positive relationships with customers, employees, GM and owners.
• Remain current with all Sales department training available by reviewing ProSell and P.A.C.E. tapes and attending seminars, workshops, and other related training programs assigned by the Sales Manager.
• Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.
• Be honest and fair in all business dealings.
• Demonstrate professionalism in providing customer service.
• Complete all available training as required.
• Continually learn more about the products and services you sell. Stay current on motorcycle trends and selling features.
▌Qualifications & Job Requirements
• Must have ability to get along with broad customer base and high energy level
• Valid Driver’s License & Motorcycle Endorsement required.
• Knowledge and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
• Must be able to work effectively with all areas of the dealership to maximize both the buying experience for the customer and the profitability of the dealership.
▌Physical Demands
• Must have the ability to stand and walk the sales floor for most of the day.
• Must have the ability to move a 900 lbs. motorcycle.
• Frequently required to bend, stop, crouch, reach, and lift 50lbs. of merchandise.
• The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
▌Working Conditions
• Majority of work is conducted indoors; however, some outdoor work will be required.
• The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
• Occasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
• Is potentially exposed chemicals or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
