A Reason to HATE Fuzz - Rowin LEF-606 Fuzz - No Talk, All Tone

Описание к видео A Reason to HATE Fuzz - Rowin LEF-606 Fuzz - No Talk, All Tone

Welcome viewers and today we have a little change from usual viewing. I usually pick pedals that are unique, have something cool to offer or just do what they do really well. A lot of these are from my personal collection and so are pedals I find pretty useable. Today is a bit different, this is a pedal I bought a couple of years back before I really got to try fuzz and after playing it, I contemplated that fuzz maybe just weren't for me. Thanks to the help of JSA, Hubcap John, TateFX and others, I've now realised it wasn't fuzz I disliked, it was this pedal. Don't get me wrong, there are some useable sounds within this thing, but you really have to search; the controls are super sensitive and you'll find that the sweet spots are really narrow bands within the sweep of each control. It is very easy to get mushy, undefined and arguably bad tones out of this. It is incredibly cheap however, so I guess it has that. I'm not willing to completely write off an entire company based on one pedal, but I really dig the aesthetic of these pedals but haven't bought one since. If you know of any legit Rowin pedals that I should check out, let me know in the comments as I'd like to get a better picture of this company as a whole rather than this lackluster offering.

If you like these reviews and demos, don't forget to drop me a comment and let me know. By dropping a comment there, you will please the algorithm gods and make my videos more visible, which would be awesome. If you have one of these yourself, let me know how you are getting on with it yourself in a comment or a video response, I'd love to hear how it is getting on in your rig through different amps and guitars.

The demo gear in this video is all run through Practical Patch cables, including instrument cables and patch cables. These are using some top-quality components, including Neutrik jacks and Van Damme cable and are hand-assembled and tested in the UK. After having off-the-shelf cables for years and suffering failures again and again, I bought some Practical Patch cables and have been happier than ever with them. They also don’t cost you the Earth, which some other hand made cable companies seem to do. If you want to find out more, head over to www.practicalpatch.co.uk to see what they have to offer.
